• I WILL SHOW YOU  HOW TO SELL ADVERTISING IN YOUR PUBLICATION

• I WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO DO ALL THIS WITH LITTLE OR NO CASH UP FRONT!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

• There is no charge for initial inquiries or exploratory conversations. I understand that you will want a bit of time to get to know me before making any decisions.

• Mentoring is charged at $95 an hour, with a one hour minimum. Sessions take place by telephone. I guarantee satisfaction. If, after the first hour, if you are dissatisfied for any reason, no fee will be charged. (I have never had this happen.)

• Consultation on extensive projects, such as the self-publication and marketing of a non-fiction book, is charged either on a flat-fee project basis or at an hourly rate, whichever is less.

• Interior book design and typography are charged at $8.00 per page (Example: a 100 page book would cost $800 for press-ready hardcopy and electronic files in pdf format. This does not include editing. There is an additional charge for tables and graphs of a technical nature. If photographs are to be scanned and inserted in the text, there is a $10 charge for each scan.

• Editing for style and grammar, if the client desires, vary according to the extent and difficulty of the project. Normally, the author submits sample pages for editorial analysis, after which a project price is agreed upon.

• Economy cover design (no original art) is $400. This fee includes front cover, back cover and spine as well as the creation of an ISBN bar code.

• There is a flat rate $250 fee for a query letter and other specialty correspondence.
